Brentford B defender Val Adedokun played 88 minutes for Republic of Ireland Under-19s as they drew 1-1 with Bosnia & Herzegovina on Saturday.
Ireland got off to the perfect start thanks to a strike from Johnny Kenny in the first period before the opponents pulled one back just before the break
This was a crucial point in terms of qualification for the young Irish side and they will face Montenegro in Dobrich next Tuesday.
There was also 90 minutes for Matt Cox and Daniel Oyegoke as England Under-19s drew 0-0 with Switzerland U19s in Sweden.
Ian Foster’s side began their UEFA Under-19 European Championship qualifying campaign with a 4-0 win over Andorra recently whilst the Swiss endured a 2-1 defeat to Sweden. England are currently on four points in their group and the Young Lions will finish their group against the hosts Sweden on Tuesday 16 November (5pm GMT kick-off), knowing a top two finish will see them progress to the elite round.
