Starting in Turkey, there was 65 minutes of game time for Halil Dervişoğlu as Galatasaray were undone by a late goal against Fenerbahçe at home. It was the hosts who went ahead through Muhammed Kerem Aktürkoğlu on 16 minutes but Mesut Özil levelled things just after the half hour mark. The game was won in the 94th minute by Miguel Crespo to leave Galatasaray eighth in the league table. Next up is a Europa League fixture at home to Marseille on Thursday.
Also abroad, there was 90 minutes of action for Patrik Gunnarsson as his Viking FK side drew 1-1 with Haugesund in the Eliteserien. Veton Berisha grabbed the opener on 59 minutes but Kristoffer Velde levelled just after the hour mark from the penalty spot. The side are now third in the league table.
Back in the UK, there was Sky Bet League One action for Aaron Pressley as his AFC Wimbledon side were beaten 2-1 away from home against Portsmouth. The Dons actually took the lead through Ollie Palmer’s penalty on 24 minutes but two second half goals from the home side condemned Wimbledon to defeat. They are 19th in the table and are at home to Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday.
In the same division, Ellery Balcombe was an unused substitute for Burton Albion as they were beaten 1-0 away from home by Milton Keynes Dons. Max Watters got the only goal of the game on 65 minutes as they beat Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side. The result leaves Burton 15th in the league table and they are at home to Accrington Stanley on Tuesday night.
In Sky Bet League Two, there was 63 minutes for Alex Gilbert as he helped Swindon Town to a 2-1 away win at Newport County. Swindon took the lead through a Finn Azaz own goal before the Welsh side hit back straight away though Cameron Norman. The winner then came courtesy of Jack Payne just a couple of minutes from time. The win leaves the side fourth in the table and they are at at home to Hartlepool on Tuesday.
Up in Scotland there was another 90 minutes for Jaakko Oksanen at Greenock Morton but the side lost 2-1 against Raith Rovers away from home. They actually went ahead on five minutes through Michael Ledger following a corner, but the home side then netted in each half to go 2-1 ahead before Alan Lithgow was sent off for Morton on 72 minutes which damaged their hope of a come back. The result leaves the side ninth in the table and they are away at Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Saturday.
