Ivan Toney has earned a place in the Carabao Cup Team of the Round as his goal and assist fired us past Stoke City in Round Four.
The Bees frontman set up Sergi Canos for our opener at the Bet365 Stadium last Wednesday and then calmly converted a second before the break. The home side pulled one back in the second-half through Romaine Sawyers but we held on to reach the last eight for the second season running.
Our reward in the Quarter-Finals is a home game against Chelsea on Wednesday 22 December, kick-off 7.45pm.
Ivan has three goals and three assists in 12 appearances this term. He opened his Premier League goalscoring account in August during our 1-1 draw at Aston Villa and followed that up with a goal and assist as we won 2-0 away at Wolverhampton Wanderers in mid-September. The following weekend, Ivan set up Ethan Pinnock for our opening goal at home to Liverpool.
The 25-year-old is the fourth Brentford player included in a Carabao Cup Team of the Round selection so far this season. Marcus Forss, Yoane Wissa, and Charlie Goode were all included following our 7-0 win over Oldham Athletic in Round Three.
