Jaakko Oksanen and Finland kept pace at the top of Group A in Under-21 European Championship Qualifying with a 1-0 win over Estonia on Monday evening.
Jaakko was an unused substitute at the Arto Tolsa Areena, Kotka, as Eetu Mömmö's 31st minute goal settled things in the home side's favour. Estonia ended the game with ten men following Alex Tamm's second-half red card.
Juha Malinen's Little Eagle Owls are in a four-way race for the top two spots in Group A. They currently sit fourth, two points behind Austria and Norway and five behind the so-far perfect Croatia.
And it is to Croatia that Jaakko and Finland head next when qualifying resumes in March.
Jaakko has earned 15 caps for Finland's Under-21s since making his debut as a 18-year-old back in March 2019.
The midfielder, who turned 21 last week, is currently on loan with Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton. Aside from this weekend's action which he missed while away with his nation, Jaakko has played every league minute for Greenock since joining, contributing two assists in nine outings.
