Brentford FC Community Sports Trust used the half term holiday to get some matches for the youngsters in their Football Development Centre. The Trust's young players were off school at the end of last month. The Trust arranged games for them against representatives of Oxford United's Trust at the newly opened Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub.

Brentford FC Community Sports Trust’s football programme offers young people of any ability, and those with potential, an opportunity to receive a high-quality football education experience, enabling them to improve in a player-centred environment. Participants have the opportunity to attend weekly training sessions at multiple venues, delivered by FA and UEFA qualified coaching staff. They can also represent Brentford FC in a structured development match programme against other professional club trusts.

The latest of those matches was held at the end of October. More pictures can be seen on the Trust's Facebook page here. The Trust regularly host trials for new players interested in joining the football programme. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
