In case you missed it yesterday, Brentford will play against AFC Bournemouth in the upcoming Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Final. The away leg will take place on Monday 17 May, kick-off at 6pm, and the home leg on Saturday 22 May, kick-off at 12.30pm. The other Semi-Final, with both legs played later on the same days, will be between Barnsley, who are at home first, and Swansea City.

The Bees were already confirmed in third place before they beat Bristol City yesterday. The victory was enough for them to end the season on 87 points, their highest ever at this level. Bournemouth ended the season with a defeat to Stoke City. They started the day in fifth but Barnsley climbed in to the top five after a draw with Norwich City, who are already confirmed as league champions.

All Play-Off games will be live on Sky Sports, the EFL's broadcast partner. There will be audio coverage on iFollow Brentford but video streams will not be available for these games. There is, however, expectation that fans will be able to attend both legs of this tie. Bees supporters will be able to attend the Second Leg as no away fans will be allowed to attend games.

Final regulations surrounding the attendance of supporters are still subject to Government confirmation, which we hope to receive tomorrow, Monday 10 May. We are planning on a reduced capacity attendance of 25 per cent of the overall capacity of our new home. Full information on the ticketing process and decision making can be seen here.

We fully appreciate there will be some disappointed Bees fans at the end of this process and we are incredibly sad our Semi-Final cannot be played in front of a packed stadium. We share your frustrations and thank you for your understanding and patience while we wait for the Government’s announcements. We look forward to providing full details as soon as we can.
