The young Bees will come up against the National League side looking to get back to winning ways following their loss at Salford City last time out. That defeat halted what had been a fantastic run of form for Neil MacFarlane’s side having been unbeaten in their nine previous matches.

Prior to the match with Salford the side had beaten the likes of a Chelmsford City XI as well as Ebbsfleet United and a Cambridge United XI.

The match will be played at the home of Hayes and Yeading United and it will be the second meeting with Eastleigh this season having come up against each other back in November 2020. Dan Bradshaw found the net before Dan Smith and Tom Blair also scored in their 3-0 win over the young Bees.

Eastleigh were due to take on Altrincham away from home on Saturday in the National League, but they had their match postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

They currently sit 10th in the division and were last in action on 1 May when they took on Torquay United away from home and were beaten 3-1. Prior to that, The Spitfires were on an impressive run having picked up three consecutive wins- twice against Notts County and once against Sutton United.

In charge of Eastleigh is Ben Strevens, who of course represented The Bees after signing in 2009. He also went on to turn out for the likes of Wycombe Wanderers and Gillingham before bringing his playing career to a close with Eastleigh back in 2018.

Brentford B will aim for an improved result this time out as they focus on a strong end to the 2020/21 campaign. We will provide live coverage of the fixture and you can follow the action across our social media channels.
