Brentford B midfielder Mads Bidstrup has earned a call-up to the Denmark Under-20 national team ahead of friendly fixtures with the Republic of Ireland and Argentina in early June.
The side will head out to Marbella for the games; the first of which is a match against the Irish on 5 June. Three days later the side will then take on Argentina at the Marbella Football Centre.
The youngster has been involved in the youth setup with Denmark in recent years and will join up with his teammates once again this year after a successful few months for Brentford.
He made his First Team debut in Brentford’s 5-0 win over Preston North End in the Sky Bet Championship and has since gone on to feature another three times for the side.
Mads has also played nine times for Brentford B this season and netted his first goal against a Chelmsford City XI recently.
