Brentford B midfielder Jaakko Oksanen has been called-up to the Finland Under-21 squad ahead of matches with Sweden and Slovakia in June.
The 20-year-old, who spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan with SkyBet League One side AFC Wimbledon, will join up with his national teammates ahead of warm up matches for their European Championship qualifiers in the autumn.
Finland will take on Sweden away from home on 3 June before travelling to face Slovakia five days later.
Jaakko has been a regular for Finland at youth level in recent years and has turned out for the under-19 team frequently. He went on to feature for the under-21s in their European Championship qualifying matches towards the end of 2019. He was selected for international duty back in March this year for friendly matches, though the youngster remained in England to help keep Wimbledon in League One.
The 2020/21 campaign saw Jaakko play 30 times for The Dons as they picked up 51 points from 46 games.
