Halil Dervişoğlu scored on his full debut for Turkey as they beat Azerbaijan 2-1 in a friendly fixture late last week.
The striker, who has recently spent the second half of the campaign on loan with Galatasaray, helped his team to victory in their first of three preparation matches ahead of the European Championships this summer.
Emin Mahmudov had put Azerbaijan ahead on 28 minutes before Halil levelled things in Turkey with a header to make it 1-1. Kaan Ayhan then put Turkey ahead just one minute before the break.
The side will take on Guinea today before their final warm up match against Moldova on Thursday ahead of their opening group match with Italy on 11 June.
