The side beat Denizlispor 4-1 with Halil grabbing the opener before Ryan Babel doubled their lead 10 minutes before the break. Mostafa Mohamed then took the game further away from the opponents as he scored twice late on.

There is now just one game to play and three teams could still win the title after the last round of fixtures. Galatasaray managed to capitalise on slip ups from Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe and they are second in the division, level on points with top team Beşiktaş and just two goals behind. Fenerbahçe sit third and are two points behind. Galatasaray will look to beat Yeni Malatyaspor at the weekend and increase their goal difference on what looks to be an exciting final day.

Also in Turkey, Julian Jeanvier’s Kasımpaşa beat Ankaragücü 3-1, though Julian is still missing through injury.

With both sides already promoted, Silkeborg and Viborg came up against each other in the race for top spot in the Danish First Division. They played out a 3-3 draw and Patrik Gunnarsson once again featured for Silkeborg away from home. The away side raced to a 3-0 lead with goals from Magnus Mattsson and Nicklas Helenius who grabbed two goals. It looked like Silkeborg would go top of the table but Viborg had other ideas as they hit back through Jacob Bonde before Mads Lauritsen and Sebastian Grønning both grabbed goals in the second period to draw level as the match finished 3-3. Silkeborg will take on HB Køge tomorrow.
