Brentford FC is proud to show its support for Kick It Out’s Take A Stand campaign with a limited-edition t-shirt.

The t-shirt, which will be worn by Brentford’s B Team players ahead of all their matches next season, is available now at shop.brentfordfc.com with all profits being donated to Kick It Out.

Kick It Out is English football’s equality and inclusion campaign, and has recently celebrated 25 years of campaigning across the game. Working throughout the football, educational and community sectors to challenge discrimination, encourage inclusive practices and campaign for positive change, Kick It Out is at the heart of the fight against discrimination for everyone who plays, watches or works in football.

Kick It Out’s Take A Stand campaign is a call-to-action initiative, encouraging people across the football community to take an action or make a pledge, in the fight against discrimination. During last year’s Black History Month webinar, which celebrated the contribution of our black players and staff, Board Director and Champion for Diversity and Inclusion Monique Choudhuri pledged on behalf of all at Brentford our desire to become the most inclusive club in the country. Over the next few seasons we will be building on that positive start with extensive equality, diversity and inclusion plans and activities across the Club, stadium, fans, Community Sports Trust and in partnership with local communities.

Speaking about Brentford’s involvement with Kick It Out, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Kevin Yusuf Coleman, said: “We are passionate about our ambition to become the most inclusive club in the country. There is no better partner for us in working towards that goal than football’s leading equality and inclusion campaign. For 25 years Kick It Out have led the way in this field and we feel that our joint experience and ambition in this area can really make a difference. We want fans to join us on this journey to make football a more welcoming place.”

Tony Burnett, Chief Executive at Kick It Out, added: “We are delighted to team up with Brentford on this initiative. Our mission is to eradicate discrimination from football and create a culture where everyone belongs, and we know Brentford share that same vision. Positive initiatives like this are key in building the foundations of an inclusive game and engaging with the communities that we serve.”
