The 21-year-old spent the majority of the 2020/21 season with Stevenage, and after a successful loan stay, the switch has been made permanent. Arthur was a consistent figure for Alex Revell’s men over the course of the campaign as he made 38 appearances for the side. He also registered two goals at The Lamex Stadium with finishes against Carlisle United and Crawley Town.

Arthur also picked up two Player of the Month awards for the club last season in what was an impressive campaign for the midfielder.

He featured in the early stages of the season for Brentford B as he made four appearances prior to his loan move to Stevenage. The 2019/20 campaign saw the youngster feature 30 times for Brentford B as the side played fixtures across Europe in Spain, France and Portugal. He has been on the scoresheet five times for the young Bees since he arrived at the Club in the summer of 2019.

Having had a year with Stevenage, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane believes that Arthur is in a fantastic position to kick on with the club having made the loan move permanent. He explained: “It’s been fantastic to see Arthur go and do well at Stevenage this season. He has been able to establish himself and I know they think very highly of him. We wish Arthur all the best with his move, he’s a very talented midfielder who we feel we helped get into a really good place whilst playing for the B Team. Arthur is in a good position to go and continue his time with Stevenage and I believe he will continue to develop and improve playing men’s football consistently.”
