Brentford FC Community Sports Trust's weekly webinar programme continues this week with another match official taking part. The Trust is running sessions for young people aged six to 19-years-old with special guest speakers. Rebecca Welch, one of Europe's leading female referees, is the guest on Thursday, 4 March.

Brentford midfield player Christian Nørgaard and forward Tariqe Fosu, along with Brentford WFC player Rabia Azam, are among those who have taken part so far. Tom Perryman, from the Club's Strength and Conditioning team, has also done a session as has Sky Bet Championship Assistant Referee Akil Howson. More will follow in the coming weeks.

Rebecca took charge of both the Vitality Women’s FA Cup Final and FA Women’s Community Shield at Wembley in 2020. She was, earlier this season, promoted to UEFA’s elite category of female referees and will talk about her football journey. The session will run from 6pm until 7pm. See more here or below.

The sessions form part of the Trust's reponse to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic with residents asked to stay at home. During the lengthy period of restriction in the spring and early summer, the Trust ran #BeeatHome and #BeeWell campaigns to keep everyone healthy and engaged. Keep an eye on Trust and Club channels for more activities to keep active at home.
