Oliver Langford handed Saturday's visit to Huddersfield Town

Match Officials confirmed for trip to John Smith's Stadium

31 March 2021

The final sprint to the line in the Sky Bet Championship marathon is here. A trip to Huddersfield Town begins the run-in for Thomas Frank and the team on Saturday lunchtime. The Sky Sports cameras will be there and the match officials have now been confirmed for the game.

Referee: Oliver Langford

Assistant Referees: Richard Wild and Craig Taylor

Fourth Official: Scott Oldham

Oliver Langford takes charge of his 21st Brentford game this weekend with us unbeaten in our last four under the West Midland's referee.

Langford's first Brentford game came away at Gillingham in December 2008. Memorable games since then include our 2-0 win away at Southampton in December 2010, the 4-1 victory at home to Reading in September 2016, our 5-1 opening day success against Rotherham United in August 2018, and our 1-0 victory over Fulham at Griffin Park in December 2019.

He also took charge of this fixture last season which ended in a goalless draw. This campaign his only Bees assignment was our 2-2 draw at home to Blackburn Rovers back in December.

So far this term, Langford has shown 94 yellow cards and five reds in 26 matches, including one for Rovers' defender Darragh Lenihan in that game at the Brentford Community Stadium.
