The side will come together on Monday 22 March ahead of a training camp which will culminate in a fixture against Ireland at Colliers Park in Wrexham on Friday 26 March in a 1pm kick-off.

This will be the first time that both Nathan and Fin will link up with the Welsh national side at Under-21 level. Joe, currently on loan with Sky Bet League Two side Grimsby Town, has been involved with the squad in previous international breaks, featuring against Belgium for Paul Bodin’s side back in October last year. Nathan had earned a call up to the squad back in March 2020, having impressed throughout the 2019/20 season, but the camp was unable to take place following the outbreak of Covid-19. Having returned from a long-term injury, the Welshman is now fully fit and has featured in recent matches against St Albans City and Ebbsfleet United.

This will be Fin’s first international call-up for Wales having had an impressive season since joining the young Bees from Worthing last summer. The 17-year-old made his First Team debut in October last year against Fulham in the Carabao Cup, before making a further two appearances for Thomas Frank’s side in the Emirates FA Cup. Fin has been a key member of Neil MacFarlane’s Brentford B so far this campaign, playing 17 times for the young Bees.

You can watch the match to see how our players get on as The FAW are streaming the game live on the FAW Facebook and YouTube channels. The match will be the final preparations ahead of the opening 2023 UEFA U21 EURO Qualifying Round match against Moldova in early June.

The U21 side have been drawn against the Netherlands, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Gibraltar alongside the Moldovans in Group E.
