Brentford B are back in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to St Albans City for a 12pm kick-off.
The young Bees were due to play against Southend earlier this week but that match was cancelled, therefore the side played an 11 v 11 training game at Bisham Abbey instead.
The 85 minute encounter gave valuable minutes to lots of members of the B Team squad, as well as a number of trial players.
The side will now look to get back to winning ways when they travel to Clarence Park at the weekend following some positive performances of late, despite narrow defeats to sides from Stevenage and Luton Town.
The young Bees will come up against a St Albans side who recently had their National League South season declared null and void following a vote between the member clubs.
St Albans City are managed by Ian Allinson. The 63-year-old spent his playing days representing the likes of Colchester United, Arsenal, Stoke City and Luton Town. He stepped into management with Baldock Town in 1989 and has since gone on to take charge of a number of non-league clubs such as Barton Rovers, Harlow Town, Stotfold and Boreham Wood.
He arrived at St Albans in 2016 and this season had the side 5th in National League South before the season was curtailed early. There were a series of postponements leading up to the end of their season and their most recent league fixture saw them draw 1-1 with Hemel Hempstead Town.
Shaun Jeffers has been the main man for goals for St Albans in recent months having found the net 11 times, whilst Mitchell Weiss and Zane Banton have also been on the scoresheet relatively frequently.
Out hosts at Clarence Park will be providing a live stream of the fixture so you can tune in from home to support the young Bees. We will publicise a link to the stream on the day of the game. We will also provide live coverage across social media, as well as a full report and post-match interviews.
