The match will take place behind closed doors at Melksham Town FC’s Oakfield Stadium as the young Bees look to return to winning ways.

Last time out they took on St Albans City, in a game where a number of First Team players featured to gain minutes, but the likes of Nathan Shepperd, Aubrel Koutsimouka, Fin Stevens and Mads Bidstrup all gained significant minutes on the day.

Lachlan Brook, Lewis Gordon and Valgeir Valgeirsson all featured from the bench, whilst the remaining members of Neil MacFarlane’s squad have been hard at work in training with lots of them featuring in an 11 v 11 training match last week at Bisham Abbey.

Brentford B will be boosted by the fact that Ryan Trevitt got his first 45 minutes in last week's training match as he continues his recovery from injury.

Forest Green are currently third in Sky Bet League Two and have been having a strong season under Mark Cooper as they aim to progress from English football’s fourth tier.

Last night Rovers were in league action as they hosted fellow promotion chasing Morecambe at home. They were denied all three points when Carlos Mendes Gomes struck in stoppage time to make it 2-2 which denied Forest Green the chance to move to the top of the table.

The result kept Cooper's side in third, just one point off Cheltenham who are top of the table. Hot on their heels, though, are the chasing pack in the play-off places with the likes of Tranmere Rovers and Morecambe following closely behind. The young Bees could come up against some members from Mark Cooper's squad alongside some Rovers youngsters at the Oakfield Stadium.

There will be live updates across social media of the match, as well as a full report and post-match interviews with Neil MacFarlane and members of the playing squad. We intend to live stream this fixture on our YouTube channel with full details to be posted ahead of kick-off.
