On English soil there would be just one of our players who would gain minutes in the Football League as Jaakko Oksanen came off the bench to help AFC Wimbledon to a second successive 1-1 draw. They took on Blackpool away from home and it was Ollie Palmer who secured the point late on as he finished in the 93rd minute.

Also in Sky Bet League One, Ellery Balcombe was an unused substitute as Doncaster Rovers beat Plymouth Argyle 2-1 at home. They went ahead through Tom Anderson before Omar Bogle doubled the host’s lead two minutes after the break. Dom Thompson wasn’t involved for Swindon Town as they were beaten 2-1 at Accrington. Dion Charles and Colby Bishop found the net for Stanley and Swindon now sit one point above the relegation zone as they prepare to make the trip to the Kassam Stadium to face Oxford United in midweek.

Finally, in Sky Bet League Two there was no game time for Arthur Read nor Joe Adams. Both were unused substitutes for their loan clubs with Stevenage beating Harrogate Town to continue their good run of form as Elliott List grabbed another goal for the side in a 1-0 win.
