In the same division, Joe Adams played the final eight minutes for Grimsby Town as they rescued a late point away at Mansfield. George Maris opened the scoring on 20 minutes for The Stags before Lennel John-Lewis levelled things up on 63 minutes when he headed home from six yards. Jason Law had Mansfield back in front but Town salvaged a point when George Williams stepped up to find the top left corner from a free-kick to make it 2-2.

In Sky Bet League One there was a vital win for Dom Thompson and Swindon Town as they picked up a 2-0 victory away at Fleetwood. Dom got 90 minutes on the day as Scott Twine scored both goals for the side to put them 19th in the table as they climbed out of the relegation places. They have a huge match with Bristol Rovers tomorrow evening as they look to make it back-to-back wins.

As for AFC Wimbledon there was 90 minutes of game time for Jaakko Oksanen as he helped them to a point at home to Charlton Athletic. The side fell behind when Jayden Stockley headed home on 10 minutes before Ryan Longman levelled shortly after. Diallang Jaiyesimi put Charlton back in front on 20 minutes but The Dons confirmed themselves a point when Longman scored his second of the afternoon on 65 minutes. The side are at home to Northampton Town on Saturday and are one point from safety.

As for Doncaster, Ellery Balcombe was an unused substitute as they drew 2-2 away at Gillingham. The home side were 2-0 up after just four minutes of the match but goals from Tom Anderson and James Coppinger levelled the score before the half hour mark as the sides settled for a point apiece.

On foreign soil, Patrik Gunnarsson was involved for Silkeborg IF and they continued their good run of form with a 2-0 win over Fremad Amager on Friday. The side had to wait until the 80th minute to go ahead when Nicolai Vallys scored before Magnus Mattsson added another in injury time.

There was no game time for Halil Dervişoğlu as Galatasaray were beaten 4-3 at home to Rizespor, whilst Julian Jeanvier was also missing for Kasımpaşa as they were beaten 2-1 by Gençlerbirliği S.K.

In Poland, Joel Valencia wasn’t involved for Legia Warsaw as they beat Zagłębie Lubin 4-0 away from home with Tomáš Pekhart grabbing all four goals on the day as the side sit seven points clear at the top of the Ekstraklasa.
