Jaakko Oksanen will remain with AFC Wimbledon rather than head to Finland for an Under-21 training camp during the international break.
The Brentford B midfielder, who joined The Dons on loan at the beginning of the season, has been featuring for Wimbledon of late in Sky Bet League One and it has been decided that Jaakko will remain in the UK to play for Mark Robinson’s side.
The youngster had been called up for a training camp as well as a couple of friendly fixtures with Finnish League sides and has been a regular at youth level for Finland.
Jaakko has turned out for the League One side 22 times this season, most recently in a 2-2 draw with Charlton Athletic. The side will welcome Northampton Town to Plough Lane on Saturday.
