Referee: Geoff Eltringham

Assistant Referees: Mark Dwyer and James Wilson

Fourth Official: David Webb

Geoff Eltringham is one of the longest serving officials on the refereeing circuit, having started as an Assistant Referee in 2008 before taking charge of his first game 12 months later. The County Durham referee was then appointed to the Select Group Two of referees in 2016.

His first Brentford game was our 2-0 win over Oldham Athletic in September 2011 before he awarded us a last-minute penalty at The County Ground in the 2013 Play-Off Semi-Final First Leg against Swindon Town. After four straight defeats with him in charge, Eltringham officiated a pair of wins over Birmingham City; 3-1 in January 2017 and then our 5-0 victory at Griffin Park in February 2018.

In 2020, he took charge of July's 1-0 defeat to Stoke City and December's successful visit to The City Ground taking his tally to four wins and two draws from 11 matches.

In total this campaign, Eltringham has shown 62 yellow cards and five reds in 22 matches, one of those reds coming for Anthony Knockaert late on in our win at Nottingham Forest.
