Brentford defender Ethan Pinnock has received his first international call-up. The 27-year-old central defender has been named in the Jamaica squad for an international friendly later this month. Ethan is part of the Jamaican group that will face United States of America next Thursday, 25 March, in Austria.

London-born Ethan qualifies for Jamaica through his father, who was born there, and could make his international debut next week. Ethan has played 77 games for The Bees since arriving from Barnsley in the summer of 2019. He has scored four goals for Brentford, including our first at our new stadium, in a Carabao Cup tie against Wycombe Wanderers.

Ethan does have international recognition at England C level, the team that represents the country at non-league level. He played for England C while with Dulwich Hamlet, where he spent six years before progressing through the leagues with Forest Green Rovers, Barnsley and now Brentford. Ethan signed a new contract in November to run until 2025.
