"Children of all ability want to play Football all year round”

An interview with the Trust's Community Football Development Manager

27 March 2021

For more than a year, the Covid-19 pandemic has prevented Brentford FC Community Sports Trust going about their work in the usual way. The Trust has been keeping people active at home since restrictions were placed on movement in March 2020. But there is hope that some normality will be resuming, as Jamie Tompkins, the Trust's Community Football Development Manager, discussed in a recent interview.

Jamie, who is First Team Manager at Ascot United FC - who play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division, spoke to Total Market Solutions, a media platform created to enhance market footprint a few weeks ago. With outdoor sports including football, golf and tennis set to resume shortly, the interview touches on Jamie's work in semi-professional football, as well as his job in our local community.
