Brentford FC support Covid-19 vaccine campaign

Bees join EFL and other clubs supporting NHS work

13 March 2021

Brentford FC is supporting the ongoing NHS Covid-19 vaccination campaign. The immunisation process against the virus began earlier in 2021 and millions of people have already had the first dose of the vaccine. Brentford FC is encouraging everyone offered the vaccine to take it.

This is a continuation of the work done by the EFL and clubs over the past 12 months since the Covid-19 outbreak that has restricted movement in the UK and prevented fans attending matches. Vaccination is part of the Government's plans to lift restrictions over the coming months. The plan states that all adults are due to have been offered a vaccination by the end of July, hich makes us hopeful we will have all our Season Ticket Holders back in our new stadium for the beginning of next season.

EFL club stadia and venues being used as vital COVID-19 vaccination centres, testing sites and training hubs. Organisations like St John Ambulance are also making use of the large open-spaced facilities at EFL stadiums, to train volunteers to assist in the vaccination programme.
