Brentford FC is supporting the ongoing NHS Covid-19 vaccination campaign. The immunisation process against the virus began earlier in 2021 and millions of people have already had the first dose of the vaccine. Brentford FC is encouraging everyone offered the vaccine to take it.
Our players are also doing their bit. Brentford captain Pontus Jansson, along with defender Winston Reid and midfield player Saman Ghoddos, helped Hounslow Council remind local people to get their vaccination when offered. See more below.
If we want to go back to normal life, we’ve got to use teamwork.— Hounslow Council (@LBofHounslow) March 28, 2021

This is a continuation of the work done by the EFL and clubs over the past 12 months since the Covid-19 outbreak that has restricted movement in the UK and prevented fans attending matches. Vaccination is part of the Government's plans to lift restrictions over the coming months. The plan states that all adults are due to have been offered a vaccination by the end of July, which makes us hopeful we will have all our Season Ticket Holders back in our new stadium for the beginning of next season.
