The young Bees were previously in action last week as they picked up an impressive 2-1 win away at Chelsea under-23s in a match which saw the side claim their third successive victory, after beating Ebbsfleet United and a Forest Green Rovers XI.

The side will be without Fin Stevens, Nathan Shepperd and Alex Gilbert as they are all away on international duty, therefore the match could present the opportunity for more players to gain minutes on the road.

Brentford B could come up against a mixture of First Team and under-23 players from Athletic. Charlton are sixth in Sky Bet League One and currently occupy the final play-off spot with a number of teams pushing to seal themselves a play-off place come the end of the campaign.

The young Bees last travelled to Charlton to take on their under-23 side back in December last year as they picked up a 3-0 win with goals from Max Haygarth, Gilbert and Joe Adams.

We will be providing coverage across social media, as well as a match report and post-match interviews following the fixture.
