The young Bees will be aiming to bounce back from their narrow loss to Luton Town last week when they take on a United side which could feature players from various age groups.

Last time out it was a 2-1 defeat for Neil MacFarlane’s side at Bisham Abbey when they took on a Luton side who went ahead early on. Gustav Mogensen then equalised for Brentford B but the match was won by The Hatters around the hour mark when the ball was fired home from close range following a Town free-kick.

That match counted as valuable minutes for players who had not got a great deal of game time in recent weeks, and with that game now behind them, the young Bees will look to get back to winning ways against Southend.

The likes of Ben Winterbottom, Aubrel Koutsimouka, Gustav Mogensen and Wraynel Hercules all gained significant minutes in the match with Luton, and all will be pushing to be involved once again for the young Bees in the midday kick-off.

Southend’s First Team currently sit 22nd in League Two, two points clear of the relegation zone. The side recently earned a credible draw against Salford City and also beat high flying Forest Green Rovers.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a live stream of this fixture, but we will have live updates across social media, a match report, as well as match reaction from Neil MacFarlane and his playing squad.
