Brentford FC Community Sports Trust are working with the Premier League's charity to put on sporting events in local schools. The Trust are working all over the area to keep people active. And as National School Sports Week was ongoing, the Trust joined forces with Premier League Primary Stars to put on sports days.
The Premier League's Primary Stars scheme provides free, flexible and easy-to-use curriculum-linked teaching resources for schools. Using the power of football, the programme offers a host of free resources to teachers and pupils to encourage youngsters to learn, be active and develop important life skills such as discussing their emotions. Sports days are just one way they work with our Trust.
Our first of 8️⃣ #PLPrimaryStars sports days took place today with Mount Carmel Primary School 🎉

National School Sport Week 2021 celebrated the return of youth sport and its power to bring people back together with a week of school sports days held up and down the country. Schools, families and communities across the UK were encouraged to sign up and hold a sports day last week. Our Trust also did their bit.
