The last time we faced Everton was in cup action at Griffin Park. The side have been in the top-flight every year since that day in 2010 but have had their ups and downs in recent years.
League Position: 10th
Top League Goalscorer: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (16)

Carlo Ancelotti signed off his year-and-a-half in charge of The Toffees by leading them to a mid-table finish. They started well, getting four wins in a row at Spurs, West Brom, Palace and Brighton. A mixed few months left them below where fans would have wanted for a squad packed with talent - England internationals Jordan Pickford and Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Brazilians Allan and Richarlison, plus Colombian star James Rodriguez, to name a few.
Results picked up at Christmas, wins hosting Chelsea and Arsenal helping them on the way. Having drawn 2-2 with Liverpool earlier on, a 2-0 win at Anfield boosted them into the final stretch of the season. Six wins, four draws and four defeats from February to May settled them in tenth place.
In both domestic cup competitions, they made it to the Quarter-Finals. Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Spurs were all beaten in the Emirates FA Cup before Manchester City scored two without reply in March. Salford City, Fleetwood Town and West Ham all fell in the Carabao Cup too, before Manchester United repeated the 2-0 scoreline to knock them out.
Our previous game came in the League Cup and it was level at full-time. Seamus Coleman has given Everton the lead after only six minutes but Gary Alexander equalised with a powerful header before the break. It stayed that way, leading to penalties. Goalkeeper Richard Lee saved Jermaine Beckford's penalty before watching Phil Jagielka hit the post to confirm a famous victory in West London.
