Brentford B midfielder Mads Bidstrup has not travelled to join up with Denmark Under-20s ahead of fixtures in Spain.
The 20-year-old had earned a call-up to the national team ahead of matches in Marbella, but the decision has been taken for the youngster to not make up part of that squad as he continues to recover following the end of the 2020/21 season.
The youngster played a part in the Championship Play-Off Final win over Swansea City last Saturday and has been heavily involved in and around the First Team setup in recent weeks.
Denmark Under-20s are set to play two friendly matches in Marbella and they are set to take on Ireland Under-21s this Sunday. Fellow Brentford B man Alex Gilbert could feature in that fixture. Following that, the side will play the Argentina U23 side at the Marbella Football Centre on 8 June.
