Mads Bech Sorensen's performances for Denmark have earned him a place in the 2021 Under-21 European Championship Squad of the Season.
Mads was a linchpin at the back for The Danes as they cruised through to the Quarter-Finals without conceding. The 22-year-old played six games in qualifying and carried that form into March's Group Stages in Hungary.
He played the full 90 minutes as Denmark began with a 1-0 win over France before scoring the second goal in The Danes' 2-0 victory over Iceland. That performance against Iceland saw UEFA select Mads as the Top Performer for that matchday.

Mads started again for Denmark on Matchday Three as they booked their spot in the Last Eight with a 3-0 win over Russia.
Unfortunately for Mads and Denmark, an injury picked up late on during our promotion-winning season kept him out of the Knockout stages which saw the Danes exit on penalties to eventual Champions Germany in the Quarter-Final.
However, despite that, his performances earlier in the tournament were enough for an inclusion in UEFA's impressive role call of young talent.
