The 20-year-old joined up with Neil MacFarlane’s side early in the 2020/21 campaign and had a successful trial period before signing for the Club in early September last year.

Lewis made his First Team debut in the Emirates FA Cup victory over Middlesbrough at the Brentford Community Stadium in January this year.

After agreeing a deal with the young Bees in 2020 Lewis went on to be one of the most consistent players for the side as he turned out 32 times over the course of the season. He also found the net once with a finish against Hendon in the London Senior Cup late last year in what was a 6-2 win for Brentford B.

Discussing Lewis’s first campaign with the Club, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “Lewis has had a terrific first season with us after departing Watford. He has evolved over the course of the season and has put in some unbelievable performances for the B Team.

“It’s important to realise that he has only been with us for one year, and though he is one of the older players in the group, we know that all players develop at different times. Lewis should be very proud of his season. Looking ahead to next season it’s our job to continue to aid his development. He’s had a First Team debut and many training minutes with the side which has helped him make more improvements. We’re delighted that he’s going to extend his stay.”
