The 20-year-old, who joined the young Bees in January 2019 from AGF Aarhus, has been a key man for Brentford B since his arrival at the Club, and he will continue his development under Neil MacFarlane and his coaching staff.

The youngster has made 62 appearances for Brentford B since his arrival and has found the net 25 times in total. The Dane had a sensational start to the 2020/21 campaign, scoring a hat-trick in the last ever game at Griffin Park as the young Bees beat Erith Town 6-3 in the Semi-Final of the London Senior Cup.

The forward, who can play both through the middle and wide as part of a front three, has also gone on to grab goals against the likes of Forest Green Rovers and Luton Town.

Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane says he’s delighted to see Gustav further his stay with the young Bees. He said: “We’re delighted that Gustav will be staying with us. He’s a player who has really good potential and has played as a number nine as well as a wide striker. Every single time he’s played for us he’s been fantastic.

“If you look at the previous season (2019/20) when he was flying against teams like FC Liefering and performing to a really high standard, that’s the type of player that we want. With some players you don’t get to see their maximum potential until they hit 21 or 22 and we believe he’s a really talented player with an unbelievable character.

“He was involved with the First Team in and around pre-season during the start of the 2020/21 campaign and the hope now is that he can keep fit. He’s been very good for us this season and I’m thrilled that he’s staying with us.”
