The EFL's iFollow service has been nominated for an award. iFollow kept fans up and down the country in touch with their clubs this season when almost every top level football match in the UK was played behind closed doors. It generated more than £42m in revenue for EFL clubs and has been short-listed for a prize.

iFollow is on the short list for the Cutting Edge Award at the Sport Industry Awards 2021. The Sport Industry Awards is run by Sport Industry Group. It has grown in to one of the most prestigious commercial sports awards in Europe and the industry’s flagship event - attended by 1,700 high profile guests from the British and international sport industry including business leaders, celebrities, sporting legends and media.

The 2020 Awards were delivered online and the 2021 version will be held in September. The Cutting Edge award is given organisations that have broken new boundaries, thought differently or brought in new ideas or technology. The winners will be announced later this year.
