Karleigh Osborne's Bees will start next season in the London and South East Regional Women's Football League Division One North after promotion from the Greater London Women's Football League Premier Division was confirmed on Friday.

The Bees ended their Covid-shortened season second in the league, having taken 21 points from their 12 league games, scoring 33 goals. In Kaitlyn Spencer-Dempsey and Rebekah Wiltshire they had the league's two top scorers with 13 and 11 goals respectively.

As the league did not run to full length due to Covid-19, promotion this season was decided by application only and the good news came through yesterday that the FA had rubber-stamped The Bees' submission.

There could be more cause for celebration on Sunday as Brentford take on Comets WFC in the Quarter Final of the Capital Cup. The game will be played at Bedfont Sports, kick-off 2.30pm, with free entry for all supporters to get behind Karleigh and the team.
