One year from now...................

Our new stadium to host games in Euro 2022

22 July 2021

While most eyes in the sporting world are on Tokyo and the delayed 2020 Olympic Games, the next year will see four major international matches at our stadium. The UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 takes place in nine English cities and climaxes with a final at Wembley Stadium. Our new stadium will host four games, listed above, all within the next year. The final tournament game at our stadium will be taking place 52 weeks from today.

In total 31 games involving the 16 finalists will be played across ten venues in nine English host cities, with the opening match at Old Trafford on 6 July 2022 and the final at Wembley on 31 July 2022. Over 700,000 tickets will be available for the tournament, with over half a million tickets available for £25 or less. The full schedule can be seen here.

Next summer’s celebration of football sees tickets ranging from £5 to £50, with over half a million tickets available for £25 or less, ensuring the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 is an accessible event for all. The tournament will see a family of four [two adults and two children] able to watch some of the World’s best players from just £30. With over 90 per cent of England’s population within two hours of a game, the tournament will truly belong to everyone and allow fans from all areas the chance to play their part in what will hopefully be a record-breaking summer for the women’s game.
