Brentford's first pre-season friendly ahead of the 2021/22 Premier League season will be against AFC Wimbledon. The Bees have returned to pre-season training and the first game of the Premier League season is less than five weeks away, against Arsenal on 13 August. Match preparations will begin next Saturday, 17 July, at Plough Lane against AFC Wimbledon. The match will kick-off at 3pm.

It is currently not expected that Brentford fans will be able to attend this game. As part of an update here, AFC Wimbledon have informed that only 2,500 can attend. These tickets will go to AFC Wimbledon Season Ticket Holders. More information on how Bees fans can keep up to date with the game will follow when confirmed and details on the match are here.

Brentford have two other First Team pre-season games confirmed. The Bees will face Boreham Wood on Tuesday 20 July. Tickets are on sale for this match. There will also be a game away to Manchester United on Wednesday 28 July.

Other games will be taking place in July and August with a Brentford XI representing the Club. This side is likely to be overseen by the Brentford B coaching staff at these matches. The players will mostly be those that are part of the Brentford B group. These games are as follows:
