Brentford’s build-up to their first ever Premier League season will continue with a pre-season training camp. The Bees have been back in training for just over two weeks and have played two friendly matches. Today, Saturday 24 July, the First Team squad, with some Brentford B players, will head to St George’s Park for a week of training.

The week will start with another friendly match. The Bees will face Watford at lunchtime. The game will not be covered live but we will update fans with the key action. The Bees will be looking to build on friendly wins over AFC Wimbledon and Boreham Wood in the past week.

After the game at Watford, the group will head north to St George’s Park. The venue, in Staffordshire, is the home of England’s football teams. It was used by the England squad as they completed their run to the final of the recent UEFA European Championships. Club teams also use it, and Brentford spent a few days there last summer.

Brentford will travel from Staffordshire for the friendly against Manchester United next Wednesday. They will return to London before facing West Ham United next Saturday, 31 June. Full coverage from the camp will be available on our website and social media channels.
