The central defender spent time on trial with the young Bees earlier in the season, working with Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane. The Club have opted to bring the 19-year-old to West London on a permanent basis. Jude has spent a number of years with Palace having represented their Under-18 side whilst just 15. The 2018/19 season saw him make 28 starts for the Under-18s at Selhurst Park before getting more game time under his belt over the next couple of years. He was also part of the Palace Under-23 side that clinched promotion to the Premier League 2 Division 1 during the 2020/21 campaign. Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “Jude’s trial with us got better and better. As he built his fitness levels and started to add more tactical details to his game, he improved every training session as well as each game that we got to see him play in. From a physical perspective, he’s very good and he has good capabilities. He’s coming to us from another Premier League club and he’s that type of player that we want to work with, as we have done with other players in recent years.”
