Daniel featured 11 times in Premier League Two for Arsenal Under-23s in 2020/21. He also featured in the Under-18 Premier League and turned out for The Gunners in the EFL Trophy. His first professional appearance came as he played 90 minutes for an Arsenal Under-21 side in their win at Ipswich Town in the competition.  Daniel’s first steps in football came with Barnet and he was with the non-league side prior to joining Arsenal at the age of 14. He has earned international honours in recent years, featuring for England at youth level. He was involved in a recent Under-19 training camp for the Three Lions, and also played for the Under-18 side as they beat Wales Under-18s 2-0 back in March. Discussing Daniel’s arrival at the Club, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “I think Daniel is a fantastic signing for the B Team. He’s been at Arsenal for a number of years, and we’ve seen him do particularly well for England recently. We want to keep improving the B Team every year, and a signing like Daniel can definitely help us to do that. “Daniel is a modern full back who likes to get forward and he has the ability to create for the team. He’s a fantastic character and will be a very good addition to the group.”
