Brentford have confirmed two home friendlies as part of the pre-season programme. The Bees will play West Ham United on Saturday 31 July before Valencia Club de Fútbol come to West London on Saturday 7 August. Both matches will be open to supporters.

Brentford will play West Ham in a game that will kick-off at 3pm and be open to all Season Ticket and Premium Seat Holders. Additional tickets will be made available to My Bees Members only. There will also be a small amount of tickets for West Ham supporters.

Tickets will cost £10 for adults and £5 concessions, and our Premium Seat Holders will be contacted directly by our Premium Services Team regarding their seat options. Full details of the game, ticketing arrangements and how those that cannot attend can follow the fixture will be announced once confirmed. It is intended that this will be the biggest attendance at our new stadium since it opened in September 2020.

This will be the second season in a row that Brentford and West Ham have met in pre-season. The Bees were beaten 2-1 at The London Stadium before the start of the 2020/21 campaign. Marcus Forss scored for The Bees that day with Andriy Yarmolenko and Tomáš Souček finding the net for the East London side.

West Ham spent most of last season in the upper reaches of the Premier League. They finished sixth in the table and qualified for the UEFA Europa League. It could have been even better for The Hammers, as they finished only two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

The following week Brentford will welcome Valencia to West London for a pre-season friendly to mark the official opening of Brentford Community Stadium. The teams will meet at our new stadium on Saturday 7 August with a provisional kick-off time of 5.30pm. The match will be our last before the start of the 2021/22 Premier League season, our first top-flight campaign for 74 years.

We are expecting a full-house crowd to welcome Valencia and formally open Brentford Community Stadium. Full details of the game, including ticketing arrangements and how those that cannot attend can enjoy the fixture will follow. We can confirm tickets will be available to all Season Ticket and Premium Seat Holders and additional tickets will be made available to My Bees Members, on a first come, first served basis. A small allocation of away tickets will be available for Valencia fans.

Valencia have been one of the top teams in Spain, and Europe, over the past two decades. They are six-time winners of La Liga and have reached two UEFA Champions League finals. Valencia have won the UEFA Cup and two Spanish cups, the Copa del Rey, since 2004 and have played European football in 11 of the last 15 seasons.
