Brentford fans unable to travel to watch the pre-season friendly against Boreham Wood this evening will be able to pay to watch the game at home. The start of the Premier League season is just over three weeks away and Brentford started their pre-seaon friendly schedule with a 1-0 win against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. Next up for Brentford is a trip to Boreham Wood this evening, Tuesday 20 July, at 7.30pm.

The Bees have been regular visitors to Boreham Wood over the past decade. We played the Vanarama National League side in pre-season in five out of six seasons up to 2018. Brentford won an FA Cup First Round tie at Meadow Park in 2012 and then played friendly games in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018.

Boreham Wood are selling tickets to those who want to attend the fixture. Bees fans will be able to attend if they wish. Please note, these tickets are being sold directly by Boreham Wood and not via Brentford FC.

Boreham Wood have been in the National League, the top flight of non-league football, since 2015. They reached the National League Play-Off Final in 2018 after finishing fourth in the table, their best-ever finish. They also reached the Play-Offs in 2020 but finished 14th last season.
