The young Bees will be looking for their seventh consecutive win and are in fantastic form of late with their last victory coming at Maidenhead United earlier this month.

The win at York Road came about through two Aaron Pressley strikes as well as a curled finish from Max Haygarth as the side impressed on the day.

A number of B Team players have been involved in Thomas Frank’s First Team of late with the likes of Pressley, Haygarth, Fin Stevens and Alex Gilbert getting game time in the Emirates FA Cup match with Leicester City on Sunday. If selected for Brentford B on Tuesday the players will be looking to continue their good form to keep them in contention for more First Team minutes in the Sky Bet Championship.

Discussing getting game time with the First Team and continuing to develop with Brentford B, Pressley explained: “We’ve been with the B Team for the first half of the season. Neil (MacFarlane) and Saunds (Sam Saunders) have really helped us and we’ve been pushing on to the First Team, so we’re all really liking it. We’re being pushed and the manager has given us some game time which is good.”

Wycombe launched their B Team project in August last year with the aim of helping to develop young players and ready them for First Team football at the club. With a core group of youngsters, the B Team also offers the chance for players from Gareth Ainsworth’s side to get valuable minutes.
