Brentford will play Premier League Leicester City in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round. The Bees reached this stage with a win over Middlesbrough on Saturday while Leicester thrashed Stoke City. The tie will be played on the weekend of Saturday 23 January.

The tie is an exact repeat of the Fourth Round tie last year. Leicester won that tie, the last cup game ever played at Griffin Park, 12 months ago, with a solitary goal scored by Kelechi Iheanacho. Leicester reached the last eight before losing to Chelsea in 2020.

Leicester currently sit third in the Premier League. No team has won more Premier League games than them this term and they are just a point behind leaders Liverpool. They are also in the last 32 of the Europa League.

The winners of the tie also know their next opponents. The Fifth Round draw immediately followed the Fourth Round and Brentford or Leicester were given a tie at home to Brighton and Hove Albion or Blackpool. The Fifth Round ties will be played on 9-11 February. More information on the dates for upcoming fixtures will follow in due course.
