8 January 2021

Brentford's Emirates FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough on Saturday will be available only on The FA Player. The Bees will face their Sky Bet Championship rivals in a match that will kick-off at 6pm. The game will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors, but fans can watch it for free using The FA Player.

The FA announced last month that all 32 Emirates FA Cup Third Round ties will be televised live for fans. See more on that here. Brentford v Middlesbrough has been confirmed as one of eight fixtures broadcast free to fans on The FA Player, exclusively delivered to homes by Deliveroo.

The FA Player is the FA’s streaming platform, launched in September 2019. You can watch live matches, highlights, features, archive and previews from the Barclays FA Women’s Super League, The FA Women’s Championship, England’s Lionesses, The Vitality Women’s FA Cup, Emirates FA Cup and The FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup – all for free. It can be accessed here and there is an FA Player app available on the Apple and Google Play app stores.

Emirates FA Cup games are only available on The FA Player in the UK. Fans living overseas should be able to watch the game via their local TV station with FA Cup rights. See more on The FA Player and how to watch here.
