The scorer of Brentford's second goal in the win over Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday was confirmed yesterday. The Bees beat Wycombe 7-2 on Saturday, scoring five second half goals to seal a memorable win. But there remained an element of confusion over Brentford's second goal of the day.

The score was 1-1 when a throw in was taken quickly and Sergi Canós found space, he delivered a superb cross the far post when Toney arrived to fire in a shot. Wycombe goalkeeper Ryan Allsop got hands to it but could not stop it bouncing towards goal and it went in. Tariqe Fosu followed to make sure, poking the ball in to the net.

The goal was officially given to Fosu on the day but a further review was made yesterday. The EFL Dubious Goals Panel reviewed all footage, including pictures from the HawkEye goal decision system which can be seen below. The EFL confirmed that the goal will be officially given to Ivan and he now goes to 19 for the season.
