With both Brentford and Brentford B preparing for weekend fixtures, the playing group were put through their paces together at Jersey Road today. Brentford B have a game against a Stevenage XI planned for Sunday, 14 February. The game will be played at Hanwell Town FC and will kick-off at 6pm, behind closed doors.

That game will follow Brentford's next Sky Bet Championship fixture. The Bees host Barnsley at 1pm on Sunday, looking to build on a win over Reading last night. With the players involved in the Reading win resting and recovering, there was one large training group today and the session saw the group put in to a match-type situation.

Charlie Goode was able to take a full part in the session while many of those that had been on the substitute's bench at Reading - Luke Daniels, Winston Reid, Marcus Forss, Jan Žambůrek, Saman Ghoddos and Mads Roerslev - were put through their paces. B Team midfield player Mads Bidstrup was also involved after a long-term injury. Ben Hockenhull was also training as he came back from injury, whilst Gustav Mogensen also got much-needed minutes in a high-quality session.

The match against Barnsley will, unfortunately, be behind closed doors. It will, however, be available live on iFollow Brentford.
