Referee: Stephen Martin

Assistant Referees: Adam Crysell and Michael McGrath

Fourth Official: Oliver Langford

This is Stephen Martin’s ninth season as a referee in the EFL and fifth as a member of the Select Group Two of Sky Bet Championship match officials.

The Staffordshire official, whose father and grandfather were both officials in the Football League, first took charge of us in April 2013 as we lost 2-0 to MK Dons at Stadium:MK. Following three straight home victories, five of Martin's last eight Brentford assignments have been with us as the away team.

Martin, who, as part of the PGMOL exchange programme, refereed three J-League games in 2013, has taken charge of us twice this season on home soil. He oversaw November's 1-1 draw at home to Swansea City before sending off both Tom Lockyer and Ivan Toney in last month's 1-0 win over Luton Town in TW8.

In total, we have won five and lost four of the 12 games under him.

So far this term, Martin has taken charge of 22 games, showing 52 yellow cards and two reds, which both came in that game at the Brentford Community Stadium against The Hatters.
