The Premier League's Primary Stars project has outlined some of the ways it is helping schools. The Premier League's Primary Stars scheme provides free, flexible and easy-to-use curriculum-linked teaching resources for schools. Using the power of football, the programme offers a host of free resources to teachers and pupils to encourage youngsters to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
Over the past few weeks, the project has released some of what it is offering to schools. They have already suggested ways player stats can be used for maths here. And there is now another way.
Primary Stars can bring maths alive using real-world data with the new season stats dashboard. Use real player and match statistics from the Premier League season to engage pupils and support their learning. See more here and below.
